Thunder's writing has been praised as "...unexpected and riveting" (-The Villains Theatre), and "beautiful and intriguing" (-Maika Branch, Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre), and her work has been shortlisted for/awarded a variety of prizes throughout Atlantic Canada. He is also the primary artist/editor of TEETH magazine, a “magazine [he] made up” (-Thunder Defayette) dedicated to showcasing things that he finds weird, interesting, or both!

"on the eventual consumption of st. katherine" is a play about desire, belonging, and the lengths we will go to feel close to our idols. It tells the story of Julie, a young woman who breaks into a church on the evening of her twenty-fifth birthday to have a conversation with, and eventually eat, a painting of the Saint Katherine.

This play is a work in development. The first draft, which won Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre (PARC)'s 2025 student playwrighting contest, was written in February of 2025. As part of the prize, dramaturgy was provided by Santiago Guzmán, PARC's artistic director. A reading of it was then staged as part of the Villains Theatre's 'Vil-Lab,' a weekend showcasing new plays in development by local playwrights.

This piece was written in Fall 2025 as part of the Anomaly Theatre Co's "Odditorium" - a group of short horror plays all performed on Halloween night. It was directed by Naomi Vogt, performed by Maude McInnis, and stage managed by Tegan Porter.
